What is the difference between Refurbished and Used?
Refurbished units have undergone full testing, cleaning, and replacement of any faulty parts. Used units are sold in their original pre-owned condition but have passed our full functional inspection. Both carry the same 12-month warranty. Each product clearly states its type and grade (A/B/C).
What do Grade A, B, and C mean?
Grade A (Refurbished): Thoroughly tested, cleaned, parts replaced. Minor cosmetic wear only.
Grade B (Like New): Pre-owned in excellent condition. Very light signs of use, fully functional.
Grade C (Good Used): Visible cosmetic wear but fully functional. All grades pass our full functional inspection.

Will I receive the exact laptop in the photos?
Product photos show the actual item or representative examples of the stated grade. Cosmetic wear (scratches, dents) may vary slightly between units, but the condition grade is guaranteed. If you receive a unit that does not match the described grade, contact us within 48 hours.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?
Yes. The T480 has one DDR4 RAM slot (up to 32GB total with onboard RAM) and supports M.2 NVMe SSD upgrades. We offer upgrade options at checkout. If you upgrade yourself, it does not void the warranty as long as no damage occurs during installation.
Does it come with Windows pre-installed?
Yes, Windows 10 Pro is pre-activated and ready to use out of the box. You can upgrade to Windows 11 for free if desired (T480 supports Windows 11 with a small BIOS setting adjustment — contact us for guidance).
Does it include Microsoft Office?
Microsoft Office is not included. You can purchase a license separately from Microsoft or use free alternatives like Google Docs, LibreOffice, or the web version of Office.
What ports does it have?
2× USB 3.0, 1× USB-C (Thunderbolt 3), HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, headphone/mic combo, 4-in-1 card reader (MMC/SD/SDHC/SDXC), and a docking connector on the bottom.
Battery & Performance
How long does the battery last?
Battery life depends on usage and condition. Typically 3-6 hours for light office work (web browsing, documents). All batteries are tested to hold at least 70% health. Replacement batteries are available if needed.
Can I replace the battery myself?
Yes. The T480 has an external hot-swappable battery that can be replaced without tools. Internal battery replacement requires opening the bottom cover. Contact us if you need a replacement battery.
Is it suitable for gaming or video editing?
The T480 is designed for business and office use. It can handle light gaming (older titles, indie games) and basic photo editing, but it’s not intended for heavy gaming or 4K video editing. The integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics are not for high-performance gaming.

What does the 12-month warranty cover?
Hardware failures including motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage, screen, battery (below 70%), keyboard, trackpad, ports, and fans. It does NOT cover: accidental damage, liquid damage, normal cosmetic wear, software issues, viruses, or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email info@ecolively.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and photos or a short video if possible. Our team will diagnose within 24-48 hours and arrange repair, replacement, or support.
Is the warranty valid in my country?
Yes, the warranty is valid worldwide. For hardware issues, we may provide troubleshooting guidance, arrange local repair, or offer return-to-base repair depending on your location and the nature of the fault.
Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 5 business days. Delivery: UK 7-12 days, Europe 7-16 days, USA/Canada 10-15 days, Australia/NZ 12-18 days, rest of world 15-25 days. You will receive a tracking number by email.
Who pays for import duties and taxes?
The buyer is responsible for import duties, VAT, and customs fees in their country, except for the US market. Please check with your local customs office for estimated charges before ordering.
What is your return policy?
14-day return window for unused items in original packaging. Pre-owned laptops must be returned with no additional software installed or data stored. Defective or misdescribed items: we cover return shipping. Changed mind / wrong model: buyer pays return shipping.
